Reaching Monte Carlo by yacht means reaching the land of luxury, gambling and Formula One. Usually, these are the main reasons why tourists choose a holiday in Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco, but there are also museums, gardens and clubs.
Since the climate is mild and winter temperatures never drop below 10 degrees, you can take a yacht holiday in Monte Carlo at any time of the year, but in the summer, the sun, the sea and Mediterranean vegetation make this area, and the rest of the French Riviera, even more beautiful.
Monte Carlo Casino is a major destination of a yacht holiday with Sea & Sea Charters, although you will be tempted to play the slot machines or sit at the gaming tables. Casinos are usually equipped with private areas for celebrities or those who want more privacy.
After mooring in the port, you can take a tour of Monaco Ville, the medieval old town, with alleys, stairs and squares. You will be impressed by how clean and efficient the city is, as well as by the Fortress. From the port, there are several staircases to the Fortress; the main one is the Ramp Maior, which takes you to the heart of the Principality of Monaco.
The Jardin Exotique, created in 1933 and with many succulents along a path characterised by steps, bridges and paths with panoramic and breath-taking views of the coast, is a very popular tourist destination among nature lovers. This is a very clean and well-kept botanical garden, and the Grotte de l’Observatoire, with stalactites and stalagmites and where artefacts that suggest the presence of man from prehistoric times were found, is definitely the most interesting part.
But a yacht tour of Monte Carlo should also include the surroundings, and, in particular, Menton and Nice, and also Eze, a medieval village which has become quite popular as the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche stayed here. Antibes and Cannes are about 50 km away, while Saint Tropez is just over 100 km away. The French Riviera is amazing, so why don’t you book your yacht holiday no?
