In particular, this country has 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites, some of which can be discovered right from the sea; you can admire lovely bays and uninhabited islands and stop for a relaxing break on its beautiful hidden beaches. Let’s see what are the destinations recommended by Sea & Sea Charters!

Croatia by yacht: Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitviče Lakes National Park is a must-see of a holiday in Croatia, as it gives you the opportunity to admire ponds and waterfalls while walking along the many wooden paths that cross the park. In particular, Sea & Sea Charters recommends a tour of Zadar  and Plitvice during your yacht holiday in Croatia.

Pasjača: the most beautiful beach in Europe

In 2019, Pasjača beach in Croatia was given the title of the Best European beach. Located a few kilometres from Dubrovnik, it attracts many tourists who reach it by walking along a narrow path that climbs down the cliff and ends in a rock tunnel. Pasjača is a rocky beach much appreciated for its crystal clear water.

The Blue Grotto on Biševo Island

Going down towards Dalmatia, you can reach Biševo island, which is known for the Blue Grotto, located in a small bay called Balun. The cave was originally accessible only by diving, but later an artificial entrance large enough for small boats was built. The cave is named after the glowing blue light that appears at certain times of day. The ideal time to visit the cave is between 11am and 12pm, when the deep blue light invades the whole cave, and fish in the water appear to be silver.

See dolphins off the coast of Lošinj

The turquoise waters that surround Lošinj island give tourists the chance to spot dolphins, as the clean waters of the Kvarner are inhabited by many species of these cute animals loved by both adults and children: another reason to sail this incredible sea!

Croatia has so much to offer to sailing enthusiasts, and the best way to get the most out of your holiday is to experience Croatia on a luxury yacht from the fleet of Sea & Sea Charters.
